Some Weekly Technical Charts and Short Comments on US financial products:
1) SPY ETF (SPDR S&P 500 ETF) is within a Weekly Rising Channel. Broke
last week the Resistance Trendline (See first chart below, Rising Channel +
Red trendline) = Expect more Volatility ahead.
2) VTI ETF (Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF) comprised of 3613 US Stocks
(so for me it is the Total Market Index) reached a new high ever last week and
Kissed the Major Weekly Resistance Trendline (See second chart below - Ellipse).
3) QQQ ETF (NASDAQ - 100 Index) Broke the Weekly Resistance Trendline of
a Rising Channel (See third chart below - Left) and made new high ever.
4) Apple Shares (AAPL) still within a Weekly Rising Channel and Tested the
Resistance Trendline from a Weekly Rising Wedge (See fourth chart below - Right - Yellow Trendlines). Highest price since November 2015.
5) DXY Index (US Dollar Index) is back Testing its Previous Weekly Breakout Trendline (See fifth chart below - Grey Trendline) so critical for Bulls...
6) TLT ETF (iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF) Broke the Weekly Resistance Trendline of a Downtrend Channel that started back since September 26 2016 (See sixth chart below - Channel) and now into a painful consolidation within a Weekly Rising Channel.
7) VIX Index (SP500 Volatility-CBOE) is still at the Major Weekly Support Trendline (See seventh chart below - Grey) and the lowest Weekly Close since June 2014!
8) Copper Futures (HG2-COMEX) re-Testing a Weekly Support Trendline. (See eight chart below-Red Trendline)
9) Light Crude Oil Futures (CL2-NYMEX) tested again the Weekly Breakout Trendlines that Bulls need to protect at all costs. (See ninth chart below - Grey Trendline - Ellipse)
As most of the participants are all in for US Financial Assets, the US Dollar Index (DXY) good behavior remains the key here...
